SUMMARY
"After the Storm" is an effort by the progressive rock community to do its
share to help out the survivors of Hurricane Katrina. All of the artists
involved have graciously donated music to this project, and many have
contributed previously unreleased live or studio material, including New
Orleans' own Woodenhead. The costs of manufacturing have been donated by
NEARfest and NEARfest Records and all proceeds from the sale of this unique
compilation will be donated to aid the survivors of Hurricane Katrina
through Habitat for Humanity.

Jon Anderson, Tony Levin and the CGT Jam at NAMM
Jon Anderson, lead singer with the prolific and popular rock group Yes, performed with Tony Levin and the California Guitar Trio at the North American Music Merchant's Conference (NAMM) in Anaheim, California on January 21st to a packed audience. The concert took place in the convention center's "Acoustic Cafe", a large ballroom, and was well received by the many musicians and vendors attending the conference.

The CGT Japanese website debuted at the end of June 2004 as a way to keep Japanese fans closer in touch with the CGT. Spearheaded by the CGT's Hideyo Moriya, the website will offer news, information, and merchandise sales in Japanese. All Songs Considered Selects CGT Tune
The CGT classic cover of Classical Gas was selected for NPR's All Songs Considered, a collection of favorite music of NPR Producers and Directors. The CGT's rendition of this Mason Williams tune caught the ear of Day to Day's Associate Producer and Director Katherine Fox. The tune appears on the CGT's 1998 recording Pathways.
